STOP HAZARDOUS LEAKS IN SECONDS!
When hazardous materials leak, the danger is immediate and apparent. Unfortunately, there has never been a fast way to stop these leaks before they cause significant, costly damage — until now.
At Neothane Inc., we have developed MAGNASEAL, a unique, patented, magnetic urethane sheet that is redefining the way first responders, hazmat technicians, and other industry professionals handle leaks of hazardous materials. We can say with confidence that it is the safest, most effective, and most efficient way to stop or prevent critical leaks before the damage spreads.
At Neothane Inc., we deliver immediate solutions for industrial leak management with our advanced MAGNASEAL products. Designed for professionals who require quick and effective responses to hazardous leaks, our reusable leak patches and covers provide reliable adhesion to various surfaces, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruption. For industries in need of a robust leak prevention strategy, Neothane Inc. offers the proven technology you can count on to address leaks swiftly and efficiently. IMPROVE SAFETY
REDUCE COSTS
Compared to the costs of a spill, MAGNASEAL products are a fraction of the expense. With MAGNASEAL, you can reduce the cost of cleanup, loss of product, production downtime, legal fines, and litigation.
INCREASE EFFECTIVENESS
The MAGNASEAL Leak Patch is designed to be flexible and conform to the shape of the breached vessel. This makes it highly effective in a wide variety of industries and applications.
REDUCE TIME
First responders can apply the MAGNASEAL Leak Patch immediately, staunching the flow until the hazardous materials response team arrives.
INCREASE EFFICIENCY
The MAGNASEAL Leak Patch only requires a single person to apply it, and is far more effective than traditional methods such as wooden pegs and putty, ratcheting bladder systems, and other cumbersome and complicated magnetic devices that are often timely, and take more than one person for application.
HELP THE ENVIRONMENT
When MAGNASEAL products are included in a spill kit, they can be applied so quickly and easily that they can minimize soil and water contamination affecting human, animal, and marine life.
RAPID LEAK CONTAINMENT
We specialize in providing instant solutions for critical leaks. Whether dealing with damaged pipes or ruptured tanks, our products are designed for quick use in high-pressure situations, minimizing operational disruptions and prioritizing safety.
COST-EFFECTIVE LEAK MANAGEMENT
Implementing our products translates to significant cost savings when compared to traditional leak management practices or full equipment replacement. Our effective leak patches reduce cleanup costs, downtime, and potential legal liabilities associated with hazardous leaks.
PROVEN PERFORMANCE ACROSS INDUSTRIES
MAGNASEAL products have been rigorously tested and proven across various marine, industrial, and emergency response sectors. From oil tankers facing leaks in transit to manufacturing facilities managing chemical spills, our leak patches conform to the specific requirements of diverse environments—offering reliable performance where it’s needed most.
RAIL
MAGNASEAL Leak Patches can stop leaks in breached tank cars caused by stress cracks, tears, ruptures, runaway cracks, weld failures, and more.
FIRE
A quick and safe resource for first responders, MAGNASEAL is a must-have for any fire department.
AGRICULTURE / REFINERIES
MARINE
Serious leaks present a special threat at sea. Whether it’s an oil line leak on a shipping vessel or a water leak due a collision, MAGNASEAL is the trusted leak prevention product among the Coast Guard and naval industries.
INDUSTRIAL
Production plants and storage facilities are just a few of the areas in which MAGNASEAL excels. Our products can halt leaks in hydraulic, chemical, or oil reservoirs, in addition to preventing leaks from punctured process lines.
TRUCKING
MILITARY
Moving and storing low-pressure gases and liquids is essential to successful military operations. With MAGNASEAL Leak Patches, you can handle these materials without worry.
WAREHOUSING / STORAGE
CLEANUP / RESTORATION
An 18” x 18” MAGNASEAL was applied as a temporary emergency response patch. The plant kept that patch on the tank for several weeks until its scheduled maintenance outage. This use of a MAGNASEAL allowed this steel manufacturer to stay in production instead of stopping its operations to deal with the leaking acid storage tank.
A 24” x 24” MAGNASEAL was applied over the breach to minimize the volume of flammable vapors being released from the car. Likewise, nitrogen gas was later swept through the damaged propane car to purge the remaining propane out to a remotely positioned flare stand deployment. This use of a MAGNASEAL minimized propane and nitrogen gases released to the work area and maximized those gases being routed through a remotely placed flare stand deployment.
An 18” x 18” MAGNASEAL was applied as a temporary emergency response patch. The plant kept that patch on the tank for approximately 3 weeks until its scheduled maintenance outage. This use of a MAGNASEAL allowed this chemical manufacturer to stay in production instead of stopping its operations to deal with the leaking caustic process tank.
A 24” x 24” MAGNASEAL was applied over the breach once nitrogen purging was initiated and the fire was snuffed out. As nitrogen gas was swept through the damaged propane car, this use of a MAGNASEAL minimized propane and nitrogen gases released to the work area, and maximized those gases being routed through a remotely placed flare stand deployment.
An 8” x 8” MAGNASEAL was applied to the leaking pipe to stop the crude oil leak while the spill-impacted perched water and affected soil was remediated. The pipeline was tapped and drained, and the MAGNASEAL unit held the crude oil through line draining and remediation activities.
An 18” x 18” MAGNASEAL unit was applied over the breach to stop the leaking fuel and substantially minimize environmental impact and associated response and remediation costs.
A 12” x 12” MAGNASEAL unit was applied over the two sight glass ports to stop the leaking fuel and support the locomotive to be moved to a nearby siding track without any additional fuel spillage.
